NU Online News Service, Feb. 2, 2004, 1:31 p.m. EST – Rydex Investments, Rockville, Md., has hired a former Putnam Investments executive who leads the National Association for Variable Annuities.[@@]
Jane Mancini, the chairman of the Reston, Va., annuity group, is now executive vice president of sales and marketing at Rydex.
Mancini, who is responsible for selling Rydex funds through variable annuity issuers as well as through registered investment advisors and broker-dealers, previously was a managing director at Putnam Investments, Boston, and head of its $40 billion insurance products business.
