Edwin G. Vroom

Prior to forming Roanoke Asset Management Corp. in New York in 1978, Edwin Vroom was VP and a division executive at Bankers Trust Company’s Employee Benefit Division. There he managed equities for corporate pension and profit-sharing plans, primarily for Fortune 100 companies, having an aggregate value of approximately $1 billion.

During his 11-year tenure at Bankers Trust, he also managed accounts for high-net-worth individuals. Vroom is a graduate of New York University’s School of Commerce and Banking. He has been president and a director of Roanoke since its founding in 1978.

Adele S. weisman

Prior to joining Roanoke in 1981, Adele Weisman was the treasurer of GAF Corporation, where she was responsible for domestic and international short-term financing, credit, and cash management as well as employee benefit investments. When she first joined GAF in 1978, Weisman established and managed the GAF in-house pension fund, and administered the externally managed pension funds.

Previously, Weisman was a VP and senior portfolio manager of Bankers Trust Company, responsible for the investment of more than $500 million of employee benefit equity assets. She holds a B.A. from Beaver College and an M.B.A. in finance from The Stern School at New York University. Weisman has been senior VP and treasurer, as well as a director, of Roanoke since 1981.
