Independent Financial Acquires Streampoint

NU Online News Service, Oct. 25, 3:55 p.m. – Independent Financial Marketing Group, Inc., Purchase, N.Y., a distributor of investment and insurance products to financial institutions, said today it has acquired the assets of Streampoint Financial, Inc., Boulder, Colo. Streampoint’s employees will continue to operate out of their Boulder offices, Independent Financial says.

Streampoint has developed Web-based investment workflow systems and regulatory compliance update services for the investment and insurance industries. Independent Financial says it will integrate Streampoint’s system with its own back-office and field integration programs for its clients.

Independent Financial is a member of the Sun Life Financial group of companies, Toronto.
