NU Online News Service, Oct. 4, 4:57 p.m. – The Principal Financial Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa, has promoted Gary Scholten to senior vice president and chief information officer.
Scholten is replacing Carl Williams, who will retire at the end of October.
Scholten has been with Principal for more than 20 years. Most recently, he was vice president of retail information services. He has also held positions as assistant director, director of information systems and second vice president of information services.
