NU Online News Service, June 26, 12:43 p.m. – PlanAnalytics Inc., Mendota Heights, Minn., says 12 401(k) plan providers and advisor groups have agreed to use or to continue to use its Search401k 401(k) plan distribution service.
The Web-based service links plan providers with retail financial advisors.
The companies signing or renewing Search401k contracts are AIM Distributors Inc., Houston; American Express Financial Advisors, Minneapolis; Capital Professional Advisors Inc., Minneapolis; The Guardian Life Insurance Company of America, New York; LPL Financial Services, Boston; Manulife Financial Corp., Toronto; Mutual Service Corp., a unit of Pacific Mutual Life Insurance Company, Newport Beach, Calif.; NFP Securities Inc., Austin, Texas; Nationwide Financial Services Inc., Columbus, Ohio, Principal Financial Services Group Inc., Des Moines, Iowa; Prudential Financial Inc., Newark, N.J.; and U.S. Bancorp Piper Jaffray, a unit of U.S. Bancorp, Minneapolis.
The Search401k system now distributes the services of 58 providers to 35 large advisor groups, PlanAnalytics says.
