National Financial Broker-Dealer Hires Sales VP

NU Online News Service, May 30, 1:45 p.m. – NFP Securities Inc., Austin, Texas, a broker-dealer, has hired Jim Manouse as vice president of sales and marketing.

NFP is a unit of National Financial Partners Corp., Austin, a financial services distribution company. NFP provides products and sales support for the many life insurance agencies and other financial advisory firms that National Financial owns.

Manouse will be responsible for promoting the NFP Web site, planning the NFP national sales conference and helping National Financial advisory firms increase sales.

Manouse previously worked for American General Corp., Houston, and also spent seven years as a registered representative and registered principal in New York state.

Manouse has a bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton. He holds the Certified Mutual Fund Specialist designation and several NASD licenses.
