NU Online News Service, April 30, 4:16 p.m. – Citigroup Inc., New York, is splitting the chief executive job at its Travelers Life & Annuity unit.
Warren May, who was head of both life and annuities, will now focus solely on life insurance as the chief executive officer for Travelers Life Distributors, West Des Moines, Iowa.
Laura Pantaleo will be the chief executive officer for Travelers Annuities Distributors, Hartford. She will be responsible for distributing annuities through all channels.
Citigroup says Travelers is making the change partly to organize sales by product type, rather than distribution channel.
