ING Names McInerney To U.S. Executive Committee

NU Online News Service, Dec. 5, 5:32 p.m. – The ING Groep N.V., Amsterdam, has named Tom McInerney, chief executive of ING U.S. Financial Services, to the executive committee of ING Americas, and put him in charge of all U.S. mutual funds operations.

McInerney, the former president of Aetna Financial Services, Hartford, will succeed John Turner, the former chairman of ReliaStar Financial Corp., Minneaplis, who is retiring Dec. 31.

ING acquired ReliaStar and Aetna Financial Services in December 2000.
