John Hancock To Spur M&A Efforts

NU Online News Service, Oct. 16, 10:01 a.m. – John Hancock Financial Services Company, Boston, says it will step up its merger and acquisition efforts by placing Kathleen M. Graveline in charge of them.

Previously Graveline was responsible for the company’s retail sector. John Hancock demutualized and raised $1.7 billion in an initial public offering in January 2000.
