Laura Mattia, Ph.D., is a nationally recognized financial thought leader, educator, author and advocate for women’s empowerment who now serves as a senior vice president and financial advisor with Wealth Enhancement. Her career began in corporate finance, where she served as global controller for M&M/Mars and CFO for several organizations, including a family office. That experience inspired her mission to make high-quality financial planning accessible to all, especially women navigating life transitions. She founded the Personal Financial Planning Program at the University of South Florida and has published extensively in top industry journals. She is also the author of “Gender on Wall Street.” In the past year, Mattia launched the Money and Meaning Masterclass. Her divorce workshops are held biannually with an attorney and counselor.
