Due to the recent Supreme Court Decision striking down the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) as unconstitutional, many same-sex couples who were paying extra taxes because their marriages were not recognized could be getting tax refunds, as well as credits for taxes paid on health insurance benefits shared between partners.
