Chris Field is the founding director of the Aggie Financial Planning Clinic at the Texas A&M College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Department of Agricultural Economics, where he has taught in the financial planning program for two years. Before that, he spent seven years teaching at the Texas A&M Mays Business School.

A chartered advisor in philanthropy, Field's career has been defined by service. He founded two nonprofits: the Mercy Project, an international anti-human trafficking organization operating in Ghana that has rescued more than 150 children and earned the Norman Borlaug Humanitarian Award, and the College Station Marathon, which raises funds for local nonprofits.

He has held leadership roles at Holistiplan, including Chief Growth Officer from 2019- 2024 and currently asDirector of Innovation.
