E-Trade Site Problems Reported on Social Media

Social media users complained they encountered technical problems Monday trying to use Power E-Trade, the E-Trade investment platform’s premier service.

“@etrade The live account value is showing blank in Power etrade. Is there a known issue?” one user on X, formerly Twitter, posted at 11:31 a.m. Eastern Daylight Time.

Another responded, “Yes. Been down for a couple of hours. Orders go pending and fill in their own sweet time. Avoid until its fixed. They have no comment beyond ‘we’re working on it.’”

Yet another X user, employing an expletive, wrote just before noon that it was unclear whether trades were going through as they weren’t being processed in a timely fashion, and suggested he was losing thousands of dollars because of E-Trade.
