RFG Advisory, a hybrid RIA platform, says it has hired Abby Salameh as its chief growth officer and two other executives. Earlier, Salameh was chief marketing officer and head of strategic partnerships for CAIS, an alternative investments platform, as well as managing director of its educational arm, CAIS IQ; prior to these roles, she also served as CMO for Hightower Advisors, Private Advisor Group and NFP Fusion Advisor Network.

“RFG is the most industry-awarded firm advisors have never heard of, and we are about to change that,” Salameh said in a statement. “RFG’s fully integrated platform is precisely what advisors need to enhance their client experience, drive organic growth and build enterprise value.”

Also joining RFG is Brendan Frazier — founder of the advisor resources group Wired Planning — who will take on the role of chief behavioral officer.

“The future of advice in our industry is where the human components of the profession intersect with technical knowledge and strategy. RFG is embracing this sea change in our industry by adding a talented chief behavioral officer to our experienced investment team,” RFG President Shannon Spotswood said in a statement.

A third new hire is Kenneth J. Kim, who will be RFG’s chief financial officer. Previously he led  corporate development and strategy for North America at YieldX, a digital platform acquired by FNZ Group a year ago.

“Abby, Brendan, and Ken each bring their own stellar attributes to the table, and we are lucky to have them,” Spotswood explained. “Combining them with the existing talent on our team — we are the firm for growth mindset advisors to build their business without compromise. It is an exciting time for advisors to look at joining RFG.”

RFG, which has about $4 billion in assets under management and received an investment last year from Long Ridge Equity Partners, is hosting an advisor conference next week in Naples, Florida. Event speakers include Eric Clarke, former CEO of Orion, Aaron Klein, co-founder and former CEO of Nitrogen, and Joel Bruckenstein, producer of the T3 Advisor Technology Conference.
