The just-released edition of the Billionaire Census — the second to be published by Altrata and the 10th powered by data from Wealth-X, an Altrata company — shows that the 3,194 members of this global group hold a collective net worth in excess of $11 trillion.

One chapter of the report spotlights the different age groups of the global billionaire population: those younger than 50, those aged 50 to 70 and those 70 and older.

ThinkAdvisor extracted the characteristics and activities of billionaires younger than 50, a segment that may be particularly attractive to financial advisors as well as companies and organizations seeking to engage with the ultra-wealthy.

We examine facets such as gender split, wealth source, primary industry, asset allocation, top interests and philanthropic activity.

See the accompanying gallery for nine traits that characterize the world’s youngest billionaires in 2023, according to Altrata’s Billionaire Census.
