High inflation, rising interest rates and recession fears have made for a rough financial ride in 2022, with falling stock and bond prices pummeling portfolios for much of the year.

Stocks have rallied this quarter as inflation has started to moderate, while questions over the Federal Reserve’s actions on interest rates continue to generate economic uncertainty.
