The newly released 2022 Inc. 5000 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. includes 325 financial services firms.

These organizations, like all companies on the list, are ranked according to percentage revenue growth from 2018 to 2021. To qualify for the list, companies had to have been founded and generating revenue by March 31, 2018. In addition, they had to be based in the U.S., privately held, for-profit and independent — not subsidiaries or divisions of other companies — as of Dec. 31, 2021.

The minimum revenue required for 2018 was $100,000, and for 2021, $2 million. Inc. researchers calculated the growth rates they used to determine company rankings to four decimal places.

The financial services firm on the list had a median growth rate of 235%, and total revenue of $30.4 billion.
