Raymond James has recruited three financial advisors who managed $1.2 billion at UBS. The team come on board in Kansas City at a new location for the firm’s employee channel and will operate as MDS Advisors of Raymond James.

The advisor group, which focuses on clients who are medical professionals, engineers, business owners and C-suite executives, includes Jared Stricklin, Darryl Dunn and Robert Meeder, along with senior sales associates Deborah Doss and Wendy Jennings.

“We were drawn to Raymond James because of the firm’s client focused culture, stability and support,” said Dunn, senior vice president of investments and managing director, in a statement.

Stricklin added: “The ability for us to truly own and run our business was a big factor, and that freedom sets the tone for everything management and support teams do here. It’s clear [Raymond James is] here to support our relationships with our clients and our continued growth. We’re excited to be part of such an advisor-centric culture.”
