As Envestnet’s research team described Brown Advisory, which won an award for its Large Cap Growth Strategy, “The edge if the strategy lies within the team.” The team has a strong culture, and its incentive arrangement includes a portion of equity ownership for every employee.
“The most important differentiator is that we are employee owned. We are a partnership,” said Ken Stuzin, portfolio manager at Brown.
