TD Ameritrade's Live Streaming Analysis Now Available on Amazon Fire TV

A year after TD Ameritrade launched its direct-to-consumer broadcast channel, the broker-dealer announced that the TD Ameritrade Network is now available on Amazon Fire TV, a streaming video service.

“The Fire TV launch was a natural next step as we continue delivering what the audience truly wants in the easiest format possible, and the success of the TD Ameritrade Network over the past year reflects that mission,” said Steve Quirk, executive vice president of trading and education for TD Ameritrade, in a statement.

The TD Ameritrade Network offers streaming market analysis and educational programming.

During its first year, TD Ameritrade Network had 1.82 million unique visitors, aired more than 1,800 hours of live programming and expanded from an initial three programs to seven. It now offers 14 hours of streaming video daily, broadcast from a studio inside TD Ameritrade’s Chicago office.

“Our goal is to provide valuable insight and education to everyone from traders to registered investment advisors and institutional managers,” said Oliver Renick, one of the network’s hosts, in a statement.

A recent TD Ameritrade online survey of 1,110 American adult investors with a minimum $10,000 in investable assets, found that 62% rated expert market analysis as the top content they seek. About 23% cited political and business bias as the key barrier to consumer market news followed by irrelevant content, cited by 14%.

In addition to the Fire TV, the TD Ameritrade Network is available for free at tdameritradenetwork.com and via the TD Ameritrade Mobile Trader app or thinkorswim platform. Also on-demand TD Ameritrade Network videos can be viewed on the the network’s website under “Videos” and on the firm’s social media pages: @TDANetwork on Twitter and on Facebook and YouTube.

TD Ameritrade serves more than 11 million clients with total assets of about $1.3 trillion and provides custodial services to more than 6,000 RIAs.
