Chris Campbell, the former assistant secretary of the U.S. Treasury for financial institutions, has joined Duff & Phelps as chief strategist, the global advisory and compliance consulting firm announced Monday.
Campbell — who also was majority staff director to the Senate Finance Committee and as legislative director to Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah — is based in New York.
Campbell will focus on advising the firm’s clients on important changes to financial policy, including tax reform and adjustments to Dodd-Frank.
At Treasury, Campbell was responsible for coordinating Treasury’s efforts regarding financial institutions legislation and regulation, legislation affecting federal agencies that regulate or insure financial institutions and securities markets legislation and regulation.
