Baird says it has added a team from Wells Fargo in Abilene, Texas, and a former Morgan Stanley advisor in Indianapolis. The advisors oversee a total of $610 million and have yearly fees and commissions of $5.5 million.
The Galbraith Group opened a new office in Abilene led by Gerald A. Galbraith and Cathie G. Coleman, CFP. It works with $220 million in assets and has annual production of about $1.5 million.
Galbraith has over 50 years in the business, while Coleman has 13. Galbraith started with Schneider, Bernet and Hickman in 1964 but moved to A.G. Edwards in 1984; the firm was later acquired by Wachovia and Wells Fargo. Coleman started at A.G. Edwards in 1995.
Baird now has six private wealth offices in Texas.

Kris Callaway of Indianapolis has managed over $390 million in assets and generates nearly $4 million in annual production. He is 23-year veteran of the business and started at Morgan Stanley in 1995.
