The Financial Planning Association and SEI have embarked on a strategic relationship to support financial planners in growing their businesses and better serving the needs of their clients, the organizations announced Wednesday.
The partnership will give certified financial planner professionals within FPA's 23,000-member community access to solution-based content, according to the announcement.
"SEI is dedicated to providing independent financial advisors with an innovative, unique and comprehensive platform of services that combine asset management, technology and operations and practice management services to help them better serve their clients and ultimately, achieve long-term success," Frank Paré, FPA's 2018 president, said in a statement.
"FPA's partnership with SEI is paramount in bringing relevant and solution-based services to help financial planners get ahead in a rapidly changing environment."
As of Sept. 30, the SEI Advisor Network was working with 7,300 independent financial advisors and had $62 billion in advisors' assets under management.
