U.S. Life Software Firm Acquires U.K. Administration Module Maker

Internet Pipeline Inc. (iPipeline) has acquired TCP LifeSystems.

IPipeline is an Exton, Pennsylvania-based company best known for its life and annuity distribution systems.

TCP LifeSystems is a Bromley, England-based company that develops software for life, annuity and pension companies. It recently introduced a digital Policy Administration System module.

Last year, iPipeline acquired Resonant Software Inc., a life insurance underwriting technology company.

Company executives say they hope to combine the TCP LifeSystems administration support module with electronic application, underwriting and electronic document delivery systems from Resonant.

TCP LifeSystems was founded in 1989.

The company’s client list includes Aviva, Foresters, Royal London and AXA.
