We’re changing now because the life, annuity and health insurance industries have been changing in dramatic ways. Regulations, technology, business models, distribution methods, and client needs and expectations are shifting, especially in the life/health market, where agents and brokers find themselves moving to fee-based compensation arrangements.

The old silos are converging. ALM can best the serve the needs of our life/health readers and marketers with a single, more comprehensive brand that gives you a complete view of what’s happening and keeps you ahead of whatever is coming next.

Our ThinkAdvisor Life/Health Channel will build upon the comprehensive coverage currently provided, adding more guidance on the products, services and tools you need to thrive in a disrupted market, and celebrating people like you, and your colleagues, who are adapting and succeeding in new ways.

We will also provide resources for the growing number of independent investment advisors who seek to enhance their client offerings with risk management and retirement planning solutions.

Of course, our coverage will evolve. Ten years ago, commissions and incentive trips were big. Today, fee-based compensation is hot. Tomorrow, who knows? Maybe we’ll be full of advice about how to help wealthy clones with multiple-lifetime income planning problems. We aim to evolve along with you and your world.
