SS&C Technologies announced on Thursday that it has partnered with Aon Insurance Managers to launch a joint platform that will simplify insurance-linked securities valuation.

The platform will combine fund administration with insurance management and independent ILS valuation services. Aon Global Risk Consulting will provide the ILS valuation services, while SS&C will administer funds.

“The appetite for the ILS asset class brings about the need for innovative convergence among service providers,” Bill Stone, chairman and chief executive officer of SS&C Technologies, said in a statement.

“Increased popularity of convergence within the reinsurance and capital markets demands further innovation,” Steve Britton, managing director and global head of ILS Management for Aon Insurance Managers, said in a statement. “In order to provide unique services to respond to the needs of ILS Funds and those in collateralized reinsurance, we set out to work together with a firm whose global reach and understanding of the ILS market was as deep as our own.”

Invesco announced in mid-February that it has partnered with Shareholders Service Group to offer SSG’s advisor clients access to its digital advice platform, Jemstep Advisor Pro.

RIAs affiliated with SSG will be able to use the open-architecture platform for client engagement and onboarding, as well as portfolio and risk management tools.

“SSG focuses on providing world-class service and technology to independent RIA firms and their clients. We believe that Jemstep’s market-leading technology combined with Invesco’s history of delivering investment solutions will help RIAs to grow their practices efficiently while improving their ability to serve their clients,” Dan Skiles, president of SSG, said in a statement. Simon Roy, president of Jemstep, said in the statement, “We are very pleased to be partnering with SSG to become a key component of their existing high service value proposition. We have worked closely with SSG and their clearing and custody partner, Pershing, LLC, to seamlessly integrate our client onboarding and servicing flows. Independent RIA firms who work with SSG will benefit from greater efficiency and effectiveness in growing their client base and serving client needs.”

Institutional investors who use reporting and analytics platform dv01 to research consumer loans have access to a new portal to help them in that endeavor. The firm launched a Securitization Explorer web portal on Thursday with data and visualization tools that integrates with the dv01 platform to transition between whole loan pool analysis to securitization analysis.

“Our new Securitization Explorer web application continues to expand dv01′s reporting and analysis capabilities,” Perry Rahbar, founder and CEO of dv01, said in a statement. “With Securitization Explorer, we are extending the reach of our already robust tools to meet the specific needs of investors in these deals.  The more these investors know, the better their decision-making.”

Dv01 oversees an aggregate securitized collateral balance of more than $1 billion, with performance data from lenders like SoFi, Lending Club, Prosper, Marlette Funding, Avant, and CommonBond. The platform standardizes data from different lenders to let users compare it easily.
