Ralph DeVito, president of The Investment Center, recalls the confusion as Americans tried to sort out what happened at the World Trade Center the morning of Sept. 11, 2001, while one of his employees tried to find out what happened to her father, who was working there.
“It was a horrible day for the country,” he told Jamie Green of Investment Advisor at the 2016 Broker-Dealer of the Year roundtable in August. “I think we all learned that life is fleeting. You never know what is going to happen and we should live life to the fullest every day.”
