MainStay Investments, a New York Life Co., said Tuesday it has hired ETF-industry veteran Ken Bossen as director of the Institutional Intermediary Business and ETF business development with a specific focus on investment strategists and research analysts.
Bossen, who previously served in senior ETF-related positions at State Street Global Advisors, Morgan Stanley and Citigroup, reports to John Lloyd, managing director and head of the Research Platform Group for MainStay’s IIB.
At Morgan Stanley, Bossen was responsible for the management of the Sector ETF Model Portfolio and the International ETF Focus List. Prior to that, he worked for 26 years at Citigroup, including time as managing director of the firm’s ETF strategy and model portfolio platform.
