BlackRock’s FutureAdvisor platform has added another client to its robo-advisor platform. U.S. Bank Wealth Management announced Wednesday that it has reached an agreement with FutureAdvisor to provide its automated investing capability to clients of its afilliate, U.S. Bancorp Investments. The service is expected to be available next year.
“We are thrilled to be launching a new partnership with FutureAdvisor to create an automated investing option that we believe will be highly valued by those who are in the process of growing as investors,” said Mark Jordahl, president of U.S. Bank Wealth Management, in a statement. “We believe this automated investing offering will complement the work of U.S. Bancorp Investments advisors as they provide goals-based planning to clients.”
The automated investing platform will be a hybrid offering that partners FutureAdvisor’s technology with the services of U.S. Bancorp Investments’ financial consultants. U.S. Bancorp Investments will design the portfolios, which will consist of “cost-effective funds … designed to help clients work toward their goals,” according to the U.S. Bancorp press release.
Clients of U.S. Bancorp Investments who are enrolled at usbank.com or using its mobile banking app will be able to easily access the platform “to track their progress against their goals anytime, anywhere,” said Jordahl.
