I’m lucky. There are many aspects of my job I enjoy. However, one of my favorites is awards season. When I sit down to read through each nomination for the National Underwriter Life & Health Industry Elite Awards, I am struck each and every time by how amazing and driven those within this industry are.

 

Not only are those individuals being nominated successful, but they also truly care about this industry; they’re proud of it and couldn’t picture themselves in any other career. They strive to help families protect themselves, they educate, they innovate, and they give back to their communities.

 

In the four categories of market innovation, best rising star, industry awareness and community outreach, we receive hundreds of nominations. Sifting through each nomination makes me proud to be associated with this industry. We do good, and it shows.
