In presenting the first-ever Strategist SMA Manager of the Year award to Gary Miller of Frontier Asset Management, Tim Clift of Envestnet | PMC stressed that Frontier has “one of the longest performance track records in the third-party strategist space,” but we don’t make the award for longevity’s sake. Instead, we’re honoring Frontier for its cutting-edge set of “globally diversified, multi-asset, risk-based portfolios” and its “subset of unique multi-alternative portfolios.”
In this video, Miller, founding principal of Sheridan, Wyoming-based Frontier, talks about how the firm’s goal is to get “the best return we can” for what he calls Frontier’s “downside constraints.”
