Be the air your clients breathe

You can’t live without water for more than a few days. It doesn’t matter if you’ve had the best survival training, after a few days without water your body just stops working.

Water isn’t something that is nice to have. It’s something you need in order to stay alive. The same can be said of food and oxygen and sunlight. Without those things you will not survive. They aren’t luxuries; they are absolute essentials.

To achieve the outrageous success you crave, you need to be the water, food, oxygen and sunlight others need in their lives right now. You need to be so valuable to them they just can’t make it without you.

That means you’re a healer—a physician. You’re someone focused on putting the pieces back together and inspiring hope in those who feel hopeless. It’s the secret to getting promoted when those around you have more degrees and seem better qualified. It’s the secret to falling in love with the partner of your dreams. It’s the secret to making your first million dollars. It’s the secret to living a happy, healthy and empowered life.

Be so amazing the people in your life can’t live without you. Be completely indispensable. It’s how ordinary people achieve extraordinary success. They stop following the rules and focus on being so amazing that the people in their lives can’t afford to live without them. Now imagine if you were one of them.
