Schmitter Goes to Commonfund Capital
Commonfund has announced that Miriam Schmitter has joined the London office of its subsidiary Commonfund Capital Inc. as director. In this position, she will report to Mark Hoeing, managing director, and focus on research and investments in private equity, venture capital and natural resources.
Prior to joining, Schmitter was managing director, head of international private equity research for Cambridge Associates in London. She started with Cambridge in Boston in 2005. Earlier, she was investment manager, private equity fund investments for Allianz Private Equity Partners in New York and Munich. Earlier, she was an investment professional at DB Capital Partners/DB Investors, private equity investment units of Deutsche Bank AG in Frankfurt and served as a consultant for Deloitte & Touche.
Secor Joins Phoenix Cos.
