The Obama administration is getting questions about just how many consumers are still trapped in exchange enrollment quicksand.
The issue came up during a White House press briefing.
Reporters asked about word that 22,000 consumers have filed formal requests for appeals, to help them get past exchange enrollment obstacles or correct what they believe are errors in decisions about eligibility or benefits levels.
White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said millions of people have used the exchanges, and the number who’ve filed appeals is relatively small when compared with the number of users.
