University adds online disability course

The University of Hawaii at Manoa will offer an online course on disability history and culture this spring.

The course will provide an overview of the history of disability from a disability studies perspective, the university says.

The course, offered through the school’s Center on Disability Studies and taught by Steven Brown, will address politics and legislation, diversity, advocacy and education.
