Glassman Wealth Services Welcomes Sonnenberg
Nathan Sonnenberg has joined Glassman Wealth Services as chief investment officer. In this position, he leads research, due diligence and portfolio construction efforts and co-chairs the firm’s investment policy committee along with Barry Glassman.
With more than 17 years of experience in investment research, portfolio development and asset allocation strategies for the ultrahigh-net-worth, Sonnenberg was formerly CIO at Fortigent, where he held a number of positions during his tenure. Before Fortigent, his most recent position was director of asset management and portfolio manager in Washington, D.C. for Abbott Downing, the UHNW division of Wells Fargo Bank.
Kwait Named Head of Hedge Fund Research at Commonfund
Commonfund announced Tuesday that Kristopher Kwait, current managing director of its hedge fund strategies group, has also been named head of hedge fund research.
Kwait, who has been with the firm 12 years, has had a significant influence on the hedge fund team. In addition to manager selection, he has also supervised the group’s quantitative analytics team. He has also co-published a collection of whitepapers on various aspects of hedge fund investing.
