Covered California managers are reporting application flow close to their weekly average for the week ending Nov. 30.

In spite of the Thanksgiving holiday, consumers started 46,200 coverage applications during the week.

Between Oct. 1, when open enrollment began, and Nov. 22, the exchange was recording about 48,200 application starts per week.

Covered California managers have decided to synchronize their enrollment information release dates with U.S. Department of Health and Human Services monthly exchange enrollment release dates. HHS expects to post monthly exchange enrollment data for November in a week or two.

The number of unique visits fell to 374,219 during the latest week, from 427,082 the previous week.

The number of insurance agents certified to sell exchange coverage increased by 251 during the week, to 7,700.

The backlog of agent certifications still in progress fell by just 52, to 11,085, because agents sent in 199 new certification applications.
