While campaigning for vice president in 2012, Paul Ryan talked about the need to reform entitlement programs, which includes Medicare. Not too long after that, television commercials began airing of a Ryan look-alike wheeling old people off of the fiscal cliff. Agenda Project was the organization behind the commercials and as the Dec. 13 deadline to reach an agreement to reduce the federal budget deficit, they have been letting Congress know that they, too, could end up in the next commercial if they vote for entitlement cuts.
