More state exchanges seem to be suffering a drop in application activity.
NY State of Health managers report lower enrollment and completed application counts.
Open enrollment started Oct. 1.
Managers of the Maryland Health Connection exchange skipped reporting enrollment counts this week while they tweaked their tracking methods, but they posted lower applicant eligibility determination numbers.
Both states are running state-based exchanges.
In New York, the exchange processed 23,011 completed applications from Oct. 24 through Nov. 12, or about 1,800 applications per weekday, down from 174,000 applications, or about 10,000 applications per weekday, from Oct. 1 through Oct. 23.
