The Financial Planning Association announced today the establishment of the FPA Research and Practice Institute to conduct original research and avail its members of tools and resources.
“Financial planning professionals today seek opportunities to grow and improve their practices in an ever-changing landscape,” the FPA notes in a press statement. “The evolution of the planning profession, increasing nature of regulation, fast-paced growth in technology, and increasing need to identify quality personnel can make it challenging to achieve desired professional and business goals.”
The institute’s inaugural project is a collaboration with New York-based Advisor Impact on an industry-wide study to gather insights regarding practice-related needs, gaps and interests. The research results will become the basis for quarterly studies, reports and whitepapers for members to access exclusively.
