Cosmetic eye surgery costs only $3 in North Korea, but it’s punished with forced labor

Good thing we do not have plastic surgery inspectors walking down Madison Avenue or around Beverly Hills, because our hard labor camps would be extremely overcrowded. In North Korea, like South Korea, many young girls are drawn to surgery to have their eyes re-folded in order to look “big.” Although the surgery costs $3, don’t expect North Korea to be the next tourist destination for Westerners looking to save a buck on eye plastic surgery; it is illegal and leads to time spent looking good in a hard labor camp.
