Bernard Madoff’s accountant arrested over $65 billion Ponzi scheme

The latest in the Madoff saga to be arrested is Paul Konigsberg, an accountant in New York City. Even with the scheme’s namesake being arrested nearly five years ago, the arrests keep coming. Konigsberg, the 15th individual to be arrested relating to the case is alleged to have helped Madoff with his London-based operation, which apparently was the money laundering component of the scheme.
