New Hire Roundup: Nautilus Group Names Grisham CEO

New Hires logoThis week in new hires, Brooke Zrno Grisham was named CEO of the Nautilus Group and George Connolly was elected to the board of trustees of the American College.

Also, Connecticut Wealth Management welcomed four new additions.

Grisham Named CEO of Nautilus Group

New York Life announced that Brooke Zrno Grisham has been named CEO of the Dallas, Texas-based Nautilus Group, a team of industry professionals providing dedicated support in business and estate planning for a group of New York Life agents serving the advanced markets for life insurance. She reports to Gerard Rocchi, senior vice president.

Grisham joined New York Life in 1999 as a senior associate in the Nautilus Group and has held positions of increasing responsibility, most recently as chief operating officer where she was responsible for case development, information technology, compliance and administrative functions. She was named a vice president in 2011. Prior to joining, she worked as a corporate sales and marketing trainer for Mary Kay Inc.

American College Adds Connolly to Board

The American College announced that George Connolly has been elected to its board of trustees.

Connolly, now senior vice president of the wealth management group at Securian Financial Group, joined the firm in 1996 as president of Securian Financial Services. In his current role he oversees many functions related to distributing financial services to individuals, including compliance, distribution technology, recognition, compensation, field practices, career advisor recruiting, Securian Trust Co. and the Securian Financial Network.

Connecticut Wealth Management Adds Four

Connecticut Wealth Management recently welcomed financial advisors Michael Tedone, Kathleen Christensen and Elizabeth DeBassio, all formerly of Filomeno Wealth Management, as well as Kimberly Lockwood, who served as investment group administrator at Filomeno.

Tedone, a principal and shareholder at Filomeno & Co., has been providing wealth management and tax planning services to clients for 30 years.
