House committee advances national late-term abortion ban

Abortion compared to slavery and genocide? Does it really take that to pass an expansive late-term abortion bill in today’s political climate? Apparently, it does. Rep. Trent Franks’, R. Ariz., bill would ban abortion nationwide after 22 weeks of pregnancy. The bill, which made it to the floor Wednesday, will make no exceptions for rape, incest or the health of the mother.
