Plan B: Obama allows morning-after pill for under-17s

The Obama Administration by way of the Justice Department has decided to withdraw its appeal for age restrictions on purchasing Plan B contraception over-the-counter. After an appeals court decision came down last week that said the government must make an older version of pill available without age restrictions they may very well have decided it was a losing battle. This ends a protracted battle that many feel the administration was only fighting in vain attempt to score points with conservatives.
