Researchers from the University of California and Aarhus University in Denmark have found that men who are physically strong tend to identify with right-wing ideology. Perhaps this is why Arnold Schwarzenegger is Republican or, could it be why liberals who support the welfare state are said to have a weak heart? In all seriousness, the researchers concluded that upper body strength is a proxy to defend resources rather than squandering them on weak members of society.
