Eating much less salt may be risky in an over-salted world

We all know that Americans intake too much sodium, which leaves them vulnerable to high blood pressure and heart disease, but a new study from the Institute of Medicine finds that lowering your sodium intake too much can lead to health problems. Many health professional and organizations however, feel that the message is too confusing for, and does not apply to, Americans who generally eat too much salt, not too little.
