A woman who had survived on dry food and no water for at least two days was cut from the rubble of the Rana Plaza on the outskirts of Dhaka, Bangladesh 17 days after the building collapse killed more than 1,000 people. A member of one of the crews hired to remove rubble from the most severely damaged parts of the building saw a stick moving and upon closer investigation heard the women say “I’m still here.”
