The Delta Dental of Iowa board of directors selected Jeff Russell as its new president and CEO, effective May 3. Russell succeeds Donn Hutchins, who spent 13 years at the helm of Delta Dental of Iowa.
Russell currently serves as president and CEO of TMG Financial Services in Des Moines, Iowa – of which he is the primary company founder.
Other roles Russell has served include chief strategy officer of Affiliates Management Company, and various senior management positions for The Members Group.
Russell is a graduate of Drake University and completed graduate work at the University of Iowa and Harvard Business School.
“We are pleased to welcome Jeff Russell to the executive team and look forward to his strong leadership in furthering our mission to improve access to oral health care in the communities we serve and to further build on our growth and momentum,” said Tom Aller, chairman of the Delta Dental of Iowa Board of Directors. “He has an exceptional track record and his expertise will help guide our organization successfully through the health care reform implementation and significant industry changes.”
