Obamacare won't affect most 2012 taxes, despite firm's claim

Have you seen the H&R Block television ad yet that claims how Obamacare will make a big difference in how you file your taxes? Turns out, H&R Block is stretching the truth to the breaking point on that one. When NPR questioned the firm on it, the tax preparers admitted that there really isn’t any change to your tax filings this year because of health care reform. The big chance is in preparing for new federal subsidies based on what you think you’ll earn in 2014, but that is not the same thing.
